Since Vextrix was established in 2008 there has always been an office base in Liverpool and with the rate of growth in the teams Vextrix now also has an office in London. Although the team has had a base in Manchester for the last 6 years, it became more and more clear Vextrix needed to purchase and secure the perfect office in Manchester that will support the growing teams.
Chairman John Williamson tells us all about the new office in Manchester, why it is such an important step and how it sets Vextrix up for an exciting future.

We have developed a strong team based in Manchester as well as Liverpool and London and it became more and more important that we create, not just a base for the team there, but the right space for the kind of work environment we wanted to create and one that reflects our culture. We are a multidisciplinary business and we deliver projects from inception to completion for our clients and so it was so important at the planning stage that we created a space that worked for all our teams and the projects they are delivering.
We decided that the only way to form exactly what we wanted was to draw up the plans ourselves, work with the right team at Opus and make a space that is reflective of the way we work. It was really important to us that we built an environment that was inviting, modern and clean and a space that the team would look forward to spending their time in.
We have a diverse team and a flexible working environment and so bringing the team together in a space that works for them, that builds collaboration, develops their relationships and builds on our culture meant it was so important to get it right.
We have created a look and feel that is appealing and allows our clients to meet with us in a professional space, that reflects who we are and the level of service we provide and that they have come to expect from us.

The design of the interior itself is open and airy as well as comfortable for the teams to meet away from their desks, with plenty of collaborative spaces and meeting areas as well as a communal feel in the large spacious kitchens and comfortable modern finishes.
It is so important that the team are connected across all our locations so we have the best technology built in, so it’s easy to use and efficient in keeping all our team connected wherever they are.
Having a base that we have planned and delivered ourselves gives the team working in the office each day a real sense of establishment and pride in where they work. We want the right people in the right roles, in a space that allows them to deliver their best work and that encourages creativity, ambition and collaboration and that’s what we have now.
We have invested in taking this step and we’re really proud to have our roots down in Manchester so we can continue to deliver our projects and deliver the service we always have. Seeing the team working together in the office now feels like they have everything they need, as well as the space to grow in an environment that aligns with our values and who we are as a business.
