Network Rail’s Asset Protection (ASPRO) team plays a vital role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of the UK’s operational railway. By managing third-party and outside-party activities—including local authorities, developers, utility companies, and other stakeholders—ASPRO safeguards railway operations while supporting infrastructure enhancements and rail development.
Under this framework, Vextrix will deliver specialised project management, sponsorship, and commercial services to support ASPRO’s critical functions.
As part of this framework, we will provide skilled professionals for the following key roles:
Project Management: Coordinating Asset Protection activities, implementing contracts, facilitating cost recovery, and guiding stakeholders through the delivery process.
Sponsorship: Acting as a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for third-party projects, managing client relationships, resolving project challenges, and securing agreements for external works on the railway.
Commercial Management: Preparing commercial agreements, managing invoicing, overseeing financial reporting, and ensuring transparency in cost processes.
